Rental Policies
A deposit of 25% of the full rental fee is required to confirm the booking, the remainder to be paid 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival. A refundable deposit of 25% of the rental is charged to cover breakages and damage.
About the House
The house is built into the side of the hill and is on two floors. A twin bedded bedroom and en suite bathroom is on the lower floor. A double bedroom with an en suite bathroom (accessible from the lounge), a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge (with double bed settee) and dining area are on the upper floor. Each bedroom is fitted with louvred door wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Each bathroom has a basin, shower and wc. The upper floor is an open plan area built in a "L" shape, surrounding a large integral plunge pool and deck area. A double size sofa-bed in the lounge can be easily prepared so that the house accommodates 6 adults with ease. There is ample seating both inside and out and a large dining table. The kitchen is fitted with hob, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and sufficient cutlery, crockery and utensils for 6. Tamarind House is purpose designed as an Antiguan holiday home with an open plan to make the most of its superb view over Falmouth harbour while providing shady areas during times of greatest heat. Extensive balconies and patios provide plenty of room for a leisurely sun-downer, or open-air eating at any time of the day in sun-shine or shade. At the same time, lockable bedrooms provide privacy for you and security for your possessions. Local Attractions and Amenities
Local sports - sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, jet skiing, tennis, squash, cycling, fishing, hang gliding, snorkeling, golf, horse-riding bird-watching and there is a squash/tennis club. All either close at hand or a short ride away. Local sights - Shirley Heights, English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard, Clarence House, Fort Berkeley, Monk's Hill Fort, Interpretation Centre etc. Local amenities - supermarkets, bars and restaurants (local, English, French, Italian cuisine).
