This tiny unspoiled island is about five miles across the Sir Francis Drake Channel from Tortola. There are only eight privately owned properties on the island.

Swim, snorkel, scuba, fish, hike and explore the whole island or just lie on the beach and relax.

Cooper Island is a beautiful five mile trip from Tortola on the Cooper Island Beach Club boat. There are white sand beaches and no roads. The climate is almost perfect with balmy tropical breezes. You'll see coconut palms, bougainvillea, frangipani, yucca, orchids and other exotic plants on the island and a nice variety of birds.

The best snorkeling is right off your beach. You'll be amazed at the wide variety of sea life you'll see right there.

Soak up the sunshine on the white sand beach or relax with a cold drink under your own palm tree and watch the yachts sail by in the Sir Francis Drake Channel. If you get a burst of energy you can take a day sail to other islands, scuba, snorkel or hike all over the island.

Stroll down your private path to the Beach Club for cocktails, lunch or dinner. There is also a dive shop and boutique there. Cooper Island is very relaxing and you will leave with a sense of peace.

HOW TO GET HERE
Fly to San Juan or St. Thomas and take a commuter flight to Tortola. The flight form San Juan takes about 30 minutes. From St. Thomas it's 15 minutes. Or, you can take the beautiful 45-minute ferryboat ride from St. Thomas. You'll go through customs on Tortola and will need a passport.

The Cooper Island Beach Club boat goes to Tortola on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on a regular schedule. They leave Tortola for Cooper Island Monday, Wednesday, Friday and sometimes Saturday, late morning or early afternoon. The cost is $20/per person. A special pickup can be arranged at a different time or day at additional cost.

The Beach Club staff will take you to the cottage and help you get settled. Trips to Tortola can be made with the Beach Club on their regularly scheduled trips. The Beach Club can arrange any side trips for you.

Terms and Rates:
We prefer a minimum of one week but if you can't stay that long, we can still accommodate you. If you'd like to stay more than one week but less that two weeks, you may split the second week. 50% deposit with reservation. Balance due 2 months before arrival.

If you need to cancel your money will be refunded if we can re-rent those dates, less 20% service charge.
