In the centre of Tortola there is a peaceful, private and magnificent place with views overlooking Brewers Bay, Jost van Dyke and St.Thomas.

The two hardwood buildings, surrounded by flowering shrubs of gardenias, hibiscus, jasmine, and shaded by ancient figs. Guava, mango, papaya, passion-fruit and soursop grow freely in the gardens. Huge rocks, stone walls, two murals and a lily pond decorate the grounds.

The varnished wood, yellow- and green-heart interior gives an impression of a jeweled-box, while the exterior view glows in azure.

You will want to be on the large verandah to experience the sunsets. Over 1,200 sq.ft of decks and covered verandahs encircle the house. This provides from dawn to sunset, a superb shaded area for enjoying the view, studying the lovely array of birds, including humming birds, annies, the hawks and the various beautiful species of doves.

Looking out over the Atlantic during the months of February and March you may catch a glimpse of the whales which pass through these waters on their long journey south. And through the winter months you can see the constellation Orion setting on the western horizon in the evenings.

In the silence, if you listen carefully you may hear the soursops whispering. A more tranquil, peaceful and totally private spot is hard to find in the Caribbean these days, even though you are only a 12 minute drive away from busy Road Town or 30 minutes from the airport.

We can accommodate up to 10 people in the two buildings, or as few as one.
