These prices include a complimentary first nights dinner, including a bottle of wine, and the provisions for the next mornings breakfast.
Payment and Cancellation Policy: 50% of the rent must be received within 10 days from booking to confirm your reservation. Balance of rent, 7% BVI hotel tax and $ 500 damage deposit must be paid in full 45 business days prior to arrival. Damage deposit will be returned within 45 business days after departure. Cancellations MUST be made in writing; cancellations received 45 days prior to arrival are subject to a 30% penalty levied on the rent. Cancellations received 45 days of less prior to arrival are subject to a 100% penalty. However, if we are able to rebook the canceled dates, the client will be reimbursed for 50% of the total rental.


Tara is a stunning house, designed by renown architect, Michael Arneborg. Located in the prime location of the private Belmont Estate, overlooking Smugglers Cove, just a short walk to the beach down a delightful rustic country path. Tara is made up of 4 separate buildings, 3 of which are bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, affording maximum privacy for 3 couples. There is also a pullout double bed in the study for an extra 2 children.

The house has just completed a total renovation, and has been enhanced with Italian tile, new kitchen, new bathrooms and balconies and decks off every room, all with stunning views of the ocean, Jost Van Dyke and Sandy Cay. A large pool, deck and hot tub, with fabulous views over the ocean to Jost Van dyke, and other Northern Islands. There is a eccentric wet bar, with icemaker and drinks fridge on the patio. Top quality sumptuous patio furniture and sun loungers. The living room is a cozy spot in the evening, with satellite tv, video and dvd player with assorted movies, a Bose surround sound stereo system with 250 CDs in a carousel. It is graced with original Caribbean artwork from Isabelle Smith and Amanda Baker. Eclectic pieces are dotted around, from all over the world.

It has a gourmet kitchen, bosh dishwasher, 6 burner commercial stove, quisinart, kitchen aid mixer and professional outdoor grill. All bedrooms have large opening patio doors, onto private balconies, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The master bedroom suite has a king size 4 poster bed, air conditioning, open stone shower, bathroom and walk in wardrobe ( including the house safe). The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, air conditioning, open stone shower, bathroom and walk in wardrobe.

The garden bedroom has a queen bed, air conditioning, indoor bathroom and shower and a private deck with a view to the ocean. The study has a computer for guests use, on an ADSL line. It also has a fax/copier. There is a double sofa bed for 2 extra guests.

The dining room is nestled in between the study and the living room, totally open plan, with glorious views, this is Caribbean living at its best. With a Balinese refectory table, made from antique reclaimed teak and 10 chairs, there is room to entertain your friends and family!

Weddings, chef services (www.di-namiccatering.com), spa treatments, and day trips can be arranged with advanced notice. You will be met at Beef Island Airport, or the ferry dock from St. Thomas and driven up to the house, where your rental car will be waiting for you.
